Another scam that is currently circulating and I was alerted to the other day by a client is: Receiving an email from WEBSITE BACKUP stating that you owe $70 for website backup services. The invoice looks legitimate. My client contacted me and asked if they should pay it, the answer is NO. (BELOW: A COPY OF THE INVOICE) For more information about this, Click Here

What alarmed me more was that the email inluded a PDF attachment. In this case the PDF was nothing more than a PDF document, but some PDF Documents have: Viruses, malware, and backdoor trojans that are hidden and can be excecuted from the attachment. Please follow safe email practices to help prevent the spread of malicious code. If you don't know who the email is from, don't open the attachment.
